The “Sweet Mousey Valentine” ecard is a segment from one of the first animated cartoon with what would eventually come to be Minnie and Mickey Mouse. The cartoon begins with the female mouse wearing a short skirt, high heels and has a long fluffy tail. She stands in front of an old upright self-playing piano or player piano and stool and dances to the music. As she begins to sing, the male mouse comes over with his dog and all 3 are dancing and smiling. We then have the male mouse and his dog dancing together and mousey pulls the music roll from the piano and puts it in his dog’s mouth. Piano music begins to come out from the dog as mousey cranks the dog’s tail! Little hearts float around the scene. The roll ends and smacks the dog on his lips and mousey puts his hands up happily. We then see doggy joyfully licking mousey’s face who in turn does not seem to enjoy it. We turn to Miss mousey giggling and as she says isn’t that cute, little pink hearts float around her. The words “Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day!” appear as the last frame ending the ecard and when mousey says so long folks, 3 little hearts appear.
