The Old Tyme Canada Day is a sequence of vintage posters and postcards starting with a postcard circa 1950 with the words Canada written in large letters and inside the letters show images related to Canada such as a Native Indian with his feather headdress, a bear, a man fishing, the background is a large Autumn maple leaf with the words “Greetings from” over the words Canada and there is a mountie at the bottom. Next, the Canadian flag filled the screen and over it we first have a vintage poster of Nova Scotia circa 1940;s with a lighthouse by the ocean and next to it the island of Nova Scotia with names on the map. Next, a poster of Newfoundland and Labrador written at the top of the poster, with a lighthouse and small village by the ocean and a fishing boat in the water. Next a 1950’s poster with the title “Come to Prince Edward Island Canada” with a young couple in bathing suite and smaller photos of people fishing, golfing at and the racetrack. To the next poster circa 1940’s titled “Canada West” with a woman with her baby in her arms in a farm field with bales of hay and the farm in the background. Next a poster of the Quebec Carnival titled “Carnaval de Québec” with the Carnival Snowman mascot and a Pierrot character. Then to a poster circa 1960’s of Canadian Tire Fall and Winter 1966067 on a windy fall day with a mechanic putting winter tires on a car, a woman holding a pair of long johns flying in the wind and an older man with a cap and scarf in the wind holding a package he just purchased.
