The “To Mothers; You are the Best” is a Mothers Day ecard made of sequence of beautiful Beatrix Potter watercolor paintings. The first frame shows the name of the card “to mothers; you are the best” and is being followed by a painting of a rabbit mother wearing a long dress with an apron. In front of her are 3 little girl bunnies with pink capes holding their basket as the mother is giving the last basket to her third bunny girl. At the forefront is a boy rabbit wearing a jacket and vest walking away. Next we see a painting of a mother duck wearing her blue bonnet and a shawl with her 4 little chicks are her feet. They are walking by flowers and a bee flying around the flowers. Then we see a lovely early 1900 ladies’ shoe and it in is a mommy mouse wearing her frilly bonnet and her 6 little baby mice fitting in the shoe with her. Next to the heel and under the shoe are tow more baby mice playing. Then we have a mouse mother wearing a long dress with frill at the bottom and she is sitting in a rocking chair holding her new baby mouse. Next the them is a lovely straw cradle with 4 little mice sleeping under a pink comforter. The following painting is of a pig mother wearing a long dress with an apron and a bonnet on her head. She is fixing her little pig son’s cravate over his coattail, vest and pantaloons. Around them we have a little pig girl in her long pink dress blowing her nose with a handkerchief and in the background a little boy pig also wearing a coattail, vest and pantaloons. We see a man’s arm giving him a treat as a collie dog is looking on the whole scene. In the background we see 3 geese and in the forefront, 2 chickens. Next, mommy rabbit in her long dress and apron is by the fireplace where a kettle is hanging and mommy pours tea in a cup as her 3 little rabbits watch her. In the background there is a little rabbit lying in bed all comfy. We then have our mommy rabbit in her long dress and apron hugging her little boy rabbit wearing his long jacket. To the final frame where mommy rabbit outside in nature outside her home giving baskets to her 3 little girl rabbits wearing their red capes as her boy rabbit is walking away at the forefront. At the top we read: “to one of the best, Happy Mothers’ day.
