This ecard is a sequence of vintage Saint Patrick’s day postcards on a 4 leaf clover background. The first postcard is of a little boy dressed as a leprechaun with a shiny green jacket, high collar white shirt, green tie, black top hat with a green ribbon around it and a white pipe stuck inside the ribbon. He has 4 leaf clovers on his boutonniere, standing up on a white chair holding a book, a wood stick is at his feet and he looks like he is singing. The words “St. Patrick was a gentleman” are written at the top of the postcard in green letters. The next screen shows 2 separate postcards, one with a man dressed in a green morning coat suit with green top hat with white pipe stuck in the top hat ribbon is standing in a large vase bouquet of 4 leaf clovers as he holds a large 4 leaf clovers in his left hand and a wood stick in his right hand which is behind his back. The words “the meaning of the green” is at the top left of the postcard and the other postcard shows a young man in 16th century clothing, long green coat with gold brocade, green pant breeches, long white socks up to the breeches, white shoes with a green buckle and is holding a tricorn hat in his right hand and a bouquet of 4 leaf clovers in his left hand. He is bowing a little and the words “only a bunch of Shamrock gay, From the Emerald Isle so dear, But I will bring you lunch on St. Patrick’s Day that will last you through all year” are written at the top left of the postcard and at the bottom right are the words “the top of the morning to you”. Moving to the next postcard with a green background and in the middle of it is a large carved clover and inside it is a vintage country scene. Around the large clover are a few decorative smaller golden clovers and at the bottom left of the postcards are the words “St. Patrick’s Day” in gold letters. The next screen shows 2 separate postcards on a green vintage wallpaper background. The postcard on the left show a young woman seen sideways wearing a silk green dress jumper with a white puffy sleeved shirt, white socks and black shoes with a silver buckle. She holds a green and gold Celtic flag with a harp at its center and at the top left are the words “Erin go brah”. The postcard on the right also has a young woman with her right hand on her hip wearing a silk green dress jumper with a corseted front with a white puffy sleeved shirt, white socks and black shoes, a white bonnet with a green bow and she holds a handful of clovers in her left hand. At her feet is a basket of clovers and over the basket are the words “The top of the morning to you” in green letters. Next postcard is of a 4 leaf closet with a tiny red and gold bow tied around it with the words good luck in gold written under the clover. The postcard is on a vintage green flower patterned background. The word in black letters Happy appears at the top left of the card and “St. Patrick’s day” at the bottom right of the screen.
